Email Marianne Marianne Howell Wright~ your Chapel Hill Neighborhood Expert Hi, I am Marianne Howell Wright and I've lived and worked in Chapel Hill since 1980. My three children attended Chapel Hill schools and Universities. This is a picture of the intersection of Franklin and Columbia Streets in Chapel Hill. In the foreground is a carving (from a dead street tree!) of an arm reaching with a basketball honoring UNC's ACC championship. My whole family, including my husband, is involved in real estate, building and development and it's been a natural progression for me. My earliest memories are of riding around "the job" in my fathers jeep. I started working for him selling lots and beach houses during the summers while I was in college and then when I moved to Chapel Hill in 1980 I became a homebuilder myself. From 1980 to 1992 I built luxury homes in Chapel Hill and Durham. Since the early 90's I've been helping buyers and sellers with their real estate needs as well as representing some of the areas best builders. In 1999 I joined Coldwell Banker HPW, the areas largest full service real estate company. I have a great office with over 60 agents.
 My husband Chip and I have a cute 11 yr. old lab mix named Buddy who keeps my feet warm while I work at the computer.
